Mac's early experience as a computer architect and chip designer (ESL/TRW, Cydrome, Ardent, Stardent) in the '80s prepared and motivated him to be an EDA tool developer in the 90's and 10's (developing VCS @ Chronologic, SureCov @ Surefire, and C-to-Silicon at Cadence). Now with better tools, Mac is leading the team that is building integrated circuits in an adaptable manner at Adapt IP.com. Mac earned a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, in New York, USA
Marleen has spent her whole professional career in the semiconductor industry and gets inspired by leading high performance expert teams. Driven by a passion to innovate, her company today builds the next generation Wi-Fi IP products using world-class EDA tools and a unique but proven SystemC-based design methodology. The IPs are easy to customize and contain all hardware and software views needed for modern system-on-chip design.
Before founding Methods2Business in 2010, Marleen worked for 25 years at Philips and NXP. From 2000 onwards, she led the innovation team responsible for building the company-wide System Level Design Flow. With her team, she actively contributed to the standardization of SystemC/TLM and IP-XACT and was a MT member of the European project "SPRINT", which was the Open SoC Design Platform for Reuse and Integration of IPs. Marleen earned a master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the KU. Leuven, Belgium.
